The Monday Hiking Group included the three Carols, Gertrude, Ealane, Bronka and myself, Rose. We had decided to hike to Annette Lake near Snoqualmie Pass. It was a cloudy day, but not too bad. We all piled into my Ford Expedition. We had fun chatting all the way to the trailhead. We had a little side trip as we hiked on the nature trail thinking it was the main trail. We knew something was wrong as we came back to where we started! ha! We did find the correct trail to the Lake. It was a little drizzly, but not bad. As always, the time spent with one another enjoying our beautiful surroundings was great! We passed beautiful waterfalls along the trail. As we continued up, we started to come into some snow. The snow contined up to the lake. The lake looked amazing, even though covered with snow. We all had a quick lunch and started back as we were getting cold standing under the trees near the lake. As we came down the trail, we eventually got out of the snow, but into the light rain. We were all fine as we had good clothing keeping us dry and warm. Bronka had never been to Annette Lake and liked it very much. We all piled back into the Expedition, all agreeing we had a great workout. It was another great day with a great group of ladies.
